Come Up to the Mountain of the Lord

by Jessica Not since 1893 when the Salt Lake Temple was dedicated has there been a celebration like this for a new temple in this valley.

Last night I attended the dress rehearsal for the youth in our stake who are participating in "Come Up to the Mountain of the Lord" at the LDS Conference Center.

By the time it was over it was difficult to find anyone who wasn't crying.

It is POWERFUL!

Tonight the Draper Youth celebrate the newly dedicated Draper Temple.

Saturday night the Oquirrh Youth celebrate the soon to be dedicated Oquirrh Mountain Temple.

I feel so blessed to have watched these youth dedicate hours upon hours to practice for this event. They have given 100% to the Lord and last night we were all blessed for it.

If you have been invited to watch the broadcast of this event - you don't want to miss it!

(The Friday, May 29, performance will begin at 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, May 30, the event will begin at 7:00 p.m. Both nights' performances will be broadcast via the Church's satellite system to participating chapel locations throughout Utah....Tickets are required for this event. Reserved seat tickets will be distributed to invited stakes in the Draper and Oquirrh Mountain Temple Districts. For those outside of these areas wishing to attend, please contact your local priesthood leader to determine if your stake will be participating in the broadcast.)

  1. Our YW have been involved in this and I was able to get a ticket to go and see it tomorrow night. Can't wait. I've heard it is amazing.
