Redemption is Come

A couple of years ago I went for a walk with my oldest, my son. It was a sunny Sunday afternoon and we were enjoying the nice day and fresh air. As we walked along we found on the ground a small toy dinosaur. When I picked it up, my son asked me where it was made. (A frequent question of his). I turned the little toy over and saw the word China stamped on it's belly. We continued our walk and had a great time. Several weeks later the Holy Spirit taught me a lesson and purpose of this interaction.
We too have a Creator who is Jesus Christ. He loves us and wants to stamp His redeeming name upon us. But unlike the toy, who didn't get a choice, we get to choose whose name is stamped on us. I love Him and I want His name on me!

I'm glad He is patient and loving to me. I'm slow to listen, but He is always guiding me to the correct path. John 16:33 Jesus said, "In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." He is stamping me redeemed because I choose Him and will always choose Him. For in Him there is safety for my soul.
